The Deputy Director Private Schools Ms Shahida Parveen Abro has said that promotion of scientific education is essentially for the development of the nation. She said that government was equipping the science laboratories of each academic unit to enrich the students with scientific education.

This she observed while addressing inaugural ceremony of two days Science Exhibition arranged by Piggott Memorial Girls Higher Secondary School at Tilk incline Hyderabad on Wednesday. The science exhibition started at 10:00am and it to conclude on Thursday. Addressing the inaugural session, Shahida Abro said that there is no scarcity of talent in our country but what is needed that is good platforms and opportunities to our youths. She said that market oriented scientific education and skill development can help in reducing the unemployment in the society.

Expressing her apprehension over increasing trend of copy culture, she stressed upon the teachers, students and parents to undertake their joint efforts not only to eradicate copy culture but to raise the standard of education. She said that private sector can play vital role in spreading standard education but simultaneously stressed upon their management to rationalise the fee structure in such a way so that each poor can afford standard education.

She also appealed to the senior citizen, opinion leaders to patronise the education in the interest of nation. Lauding the science exhibition, Ms Shahida Abro said that such exhibitions are necessary for raising creativity approach among the students. She also stressed upon the management of other Government/Private schools to follow the foot prints of Piggott School and arrange such exhibition for the learning of students.

The Bishop Kaleem John, while addressing the inaugural session, said that their institution are always ready and engaged to serve the human being. He said to serve the human being through education, skill, or spirit was worship. He said that education is the source of creativity, inability to learn and deliver the human being.
